This Privacy Policy explains how Klaq ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit klaq.ch or make a purchase. We comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are
Klaq is operated by Federico Barchilon, based in Geneva, Switzerland. Contact: federico.barchilon@icloud.com
2. What data we collect
We collect data you provide directly (name, email, shipping address, payment info) when you place an order or sign up for our newsletter. We also collect usage data automatically via cookies and analytics tools (e.g. Shopify analytics, Meta Pixel if enabled).
3. Why we collect it
We use your data to process and fulfil orders, send order confirmations and shipping updates, send marketing emails (only if you opted in), and improve our website. We do not sell your data to third parties.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on contract performance (your order), your consent (newsletter), and our legitimate interest (analytics, fraud prevention).
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to operate the store, and optional analytics/marketing cookies. You can manage your cookie preferences via the banner on our site.
6. Data sharing
We share data only with service providers necessary to run our business: Shopify (platform), payment processors, and shipping carriers. All are bound by data processing agreements.
7. Data retention
We retain order data for 10 years as required by Swiss accounting law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
8. Your rights
Under nFADP and GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact us at federico.barchilon@icloud.com to exercise any of these rights.
9. Contact & complaints
